In honor of the holiday season and Giving Tuesday, Dauphin County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) have returned their donate-to-decorate “Giving Tree” campaign for the 2023 holiday season.
The ceremony was held today around 1 p.m. at the Linglestown American Legion Post 272.
The goal of the project invites all Pennsylvanians to donate to the tree in support of foster children during the holiday season in order to support and lift their spirits.
This campaign will run from Nov. 28 through the end of December. Proceeds will be collected throughout this time which will aid volunteer court advocates appointed by a judge to represent the best interests for both children and sibling groups within the foster care system.
