Abom & Gnazzo Honored with Two Keystone Awards from the Public Relations Society of America/Central PA Chapter

The Central Pennsylvania chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) celebrated the outstanding achievements of public relations and communications professionals at the annual Keystone Awards ceremony and luncheon.

The event brought together over 50 industry experts celebrating 30 awards given for excellence in public relations from local professionals in the field at the National Civil War Museum on November 14.

Dauphin County CASA Lights 2023 Giving Tree – Uplifts Foster Children with Volunteer Court Advocacy

In honor of the holiday season and Giving Tuesday, Dauphin County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) have returned their donate-to-decorate “Giving Tree” campaign for the 2023 holiday season.

The ceremony was held today around 1 p.m. at the Linglestown American Legion Post 272.

The goal of the project invites all Pennsylvanians to donate to the tree in support of foster children during the holiday season in order to support and lift their spirits.

The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC hosted a leadership conference for both Chambers of the Pennsylvania General Assembly leaders, Speaker of the House Joanna McClinton and Senate President Pro Tempore Kim Ward, on Tuesday, November 14. Speaker McClinton and President Pro Tempore Ward discussed their respective legislative priorities, anticipated agendas for their Chambers, and the importance of bipartisan cooperation in legislative contexts.

Our chapter’s annual Keystone Awards was a resounding success!

We were excited to have 23 award-winning projects, as well as an individual award winner this year.

Featuring the theme ‘rise-up’, our community of public relations and communications professionals were proud to celebrate a dozen companies for projects including media placements, internal communications strategies, multicultural communication, and special events.

Veterans Outreach of PA breaks ground on Tiny Homes Village for homeless vets.

After three years of fundraising, officials finally broke ground on the project Monday morning. Veterans Grove is right along Front Street in Harrisburg, which is near PennDOT’s Riverfront Building in Harrisburg.

There will be 15 tiny homes and a community center for veterans to give them a temporary place to stay as they work to get back on their feet.
